With a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University, she has extensive experience in higher education curriculum design, online learning, and organizational leadership. She also leverages her background in business administration, strategic management, and agribusiness economics to connect classroom learning with real-world applications. Dr. Bond is committed to helping students develop practical skills, critical thinking, and confidence as they gear up for careers in agriculture, business, and beyond.

Dr. James Cable received his bachelor’s degree from Mercer University in 1975. He went on to obtain his M. Ed. from Georgia College in 1977. In 1979, he received his Ed. S. from the University of Georgia. He completed his doctorate degree from the University of Georgia in 1981. Dr. Cable has experience as a teacher, a director of instruction (K-12), an assistant superintendent, a lead school improvement specialist, and a leadership advisor.

Dr. Vesta R. Chafin is part-time faculty at Valdosta State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Education from Capella University in 2004, her M.A. in Business Education and Office Administration from Ball State University in 1994, and her B.S. in the same field from Ball State University in 1988.. She teaches courses in communications, web design, adult learning strategies, and dissertation development. Her professional interests center on effective instructional strategies for adult learners, technology integration in education, and best practices for online course design.

In 2019, Dr. Diaz returned to Valdosta State University to complete his doctorate in Educational Leadership. He now has over 15 years of experience in the field of education. In the past, Dr. Diaz has served as a middle school teacher, an assistant principal, and a principal.

Dr. Monica Dyess received her BS in Middle Grades Education from Valdosta State University in 2003. She holds two master’s degrees. Her first master’s degree was obtained from Pennsylvania State University in 2010, and she studied Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Children’s Literature. Her second master’s degree comes from Florida State University in 2020 where she studied Science in Information. Dr. Dyess completed her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in 2016 after returning to Valdosta State University. Dr. Dyess has a history of teaching middle school, serving as a gifted and STEM coordinator, serving as a Head Media Specialist, and teaching as an adjunct professor.

She is passionate about advancing teacher leadership and equipping educators with effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners. She also explores how curriculum alignment and assessment practices can drive continuous improvement across schools and districts.

With a rich background spanning roles such as classroom teacher, Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher and coordinator, Response to Intervention (RTI) coordinator, and school counselor, Ms. Rapp has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to fostering academic and personal growth. Her expertise in educational leadership and student support has made her a vital resource for students, fellow educators, parents, and community stakeholders. Ms. Rapp continues to shape the field of education through her innovative approaches and dedication to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Professor Rewis primarily teaches courses focused on computer technology in the workplace, with an emphasis on practical application and career readiness. In 1992, he completed another doctorate in Educational Administration after returning to Kent State University. Dr. Wadsworth obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a Teacher Certification from Eastern Illinois University in 1987. In 1990, he returned to Eastern Illinois University and received his Master’s in Physical Science Program. In 2001, he completed his Ph.D. in Technology Education Specialization from the University of Illinois. Dr. Wadsworth has held educational positions as a teacher, lead instructor, and professor. Other titles include data analyst and research scientist.

Maria Waters is a part-time adjunct professor at Valdosta State University, where she teaches Foundations of Teacher Leadership. She is certified in both elementary and middle grades education and holds Gifted and ESOL Endorsements. Waters earned her Educational Specialist Degree in 1998 and has served in various educational roles throughout her career, including as an elementary school principal and currently as a high school principal.

Dr. Williams has served as an elementary school teacher, a research associate, and a professor.
