Dr. Lorraine Schmertzing is a professor in the Department of Leadership, Technology, and Workforce Development at Valdosta State University. She earned her Ed.D. in Educational Management from the University of West Florida in 2000, an M.A. in Communication Arts from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1986, and a B.A. in Radio, Television, and Film from Baylor University in 1982. Her research interests include qualitative research, culture, and instructional technology.
