Douglas Robinson is a Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice. He is a retired Patrol Sergeant with 23 years of law enforcement experience at both the local and state levels. His teaching interests focus on the role of policing and its impact on communities and the legal system. His research interests include historical and types of correctional facilities, which has produced several research articles and crime prevention, which culminated in the publication of a textbook in 2025 titled Crime Prevention in Today's America. He is also a veteran, having proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
