Dr. Cole joined the Dewer College of Education faculty in the Fall of 2024 after having served 29 years in the Valdosta City School System. During his tenure with Valdosta City Schools, he served as a middle school Social Studies teacher, an assistant principal, a principal, a curriculum director, and as the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning. Since joining Valdosta State University, Dr. Cole has taught undergraduate courses for Middle and Secondary initial certification and graduate courses for Teacher Leadership.
