Teaching Field: Communication and Public Relations

Dr. Arrington Stoll is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Communication Arts at Valdosta State University. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in public relations and communication. Her research explores the intersection of deception, emotional expression, and media influence—examining how individuals navigate truth, privacy, and intimacy in both personal relationships and digital spaces. Dr. Stoll is also passionate about curriculum design and student mentorship, guiding graduate and undergraduate students in developing practical and theoretical skills for careers in communication, marketing, media industries, etc. In addition to her scholarly work, she is deeply involved in program development and recruitment, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across programs. Her approach to teaching emphasizes empathy, creativity, and critical thinking to prepare students to communicate with authenticity and purpose in evolving landscapes.
