Asari Fletcher is a Lecturer in the Communication Department at Valdosta State University. With over a decade of experience in strategic communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement, Asari excels in crafting and executing effective communication strategies. She has a proven track record in media outreach, crisis management, and fostering positive relationships to drive impactful results.
Before joining Valdosta State, Asari served in various key roles, including Director of Communications, Marketing, and Media at Florida State University and Communications Director at Florida A&M University's College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health. She has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University, where she delivered online education to business and communication students.
Asari holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Political Science from Tennessee State University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Law at Alabama State University.
